Alejandro

Hello Lover!

KitchenAid KSM150PSSM Artisan Series 5-Quart Stand Mixer, Silver Metallic

Yes, this is Alejandro, my new boyfriend.

Super sexy, body as hard as steel, and knows just what I like!

Perhaps I cried when I opened him on Christmas morning...perhaps I cried like a baby.
You see, I had a suspicion that I was getting Alejandro (as Mom is terrible at keeping secrets from me). However, the few days leading up to Christmas, Mom and my sister, Sarah, did a really good job throwing me off. By Christmas I resigned myself in the fact that it just wasn't going to happen.

Well, dear friends, it did.

Why do I need a mixer? Perhaps because of this:

And this:

And this:

And this:

And this:

Don't forget this:

I didn't keep track of how many I made or how many hours I spent -- but I think it was quite a success. Here are some of my delicious creations:

(Frosted sugar cookies, sprinkled sugar cookies, chocolate chip, peppermint chip, Andes mint chip, cinammon chip, pinwheels, cake mix cookies, cocoa cookies, no-bakes, oreo bark, peanut butter squares, fudge, cake balls, peppermint squares, oreo balls and Andes mint squares)

Needless to say, I'm pretty certain Alejandro will get a lot of action -- and we will live happily ever after

A Trip Down Awkward Lane... aka Peek-a-boo!

Call me a creeper, but I think awkward photos of random people are hilarious. So, I was quite thrilled when my sister, Sarah, showed me This site.

Basically, it is a collection of awkward family photos and my oh my does it make me laugh.

Some of my faves are as follows:

Parenting at it's finest?

Pooh's family

A Special Kind of Love

One big, happy family

Dribble

Chester the Molester

And, last...but MOST certainly not least is the best of all....the Hidden Treasure (look close...)

Silent Observers

Apparently there are some secret viewers of my blog now. Let me tell you a short story which led to said events.

Last Friday, my boss turned to me and asked, "What does your license plate say?"

Whoops.

I may have turned a few shades of red.

Of course, my response was "Look it up in the urban dictionary".

And, do we all remember what that says?

Hmmmm....not really something I wanted to share with my boss.

Long story short, this came up at the annual Christmas party, as well as the fact that I have a blog. Now, they announced the wrong blog address, so I doubt I will get a ton of them viewing my [awesome] blog, but apparently some have already viewed it.

While that may have been one of the most embarrassing moments ever, my new t-shirt totally sazzles!

So, I'd like to take a minute to welcome any of my silent observers out there! Hope you have a sazzlerific day!

...for the record...the "drugged up" comment in no way actually applies to me. If you question it, I'll give you a hair sample to test!

Super Lame...yet Awesome?

I do NOT like Dancing with the Stars. I think it is lame. Super Lame. So, I was pretty annoyed when I saw a commercial for this:

Ugh. Seriously? LAME!!!

Seriously...I'd rather clean my bathrooms or vacuum than watch this crap.

Last Monday was the first time the show aired. Since I had only seen one commercial for it, I had no idea who was on it or even what channel it was on. That night, my girlfriend gave me a call, asking if I was watching it.

"H to the NO" I told her.

....but then, she pointed this out:

WHAT?! BETHENNY "Real Housewife, with a rock'n body, hot husband and beautiful baby" FRANKEL?
Do you all know that I love Bethenny Frankel? I do; a lot. She is gorgeous, successful, and didn't marry or have a child until she was almost 40. I want to be her. You may remember her from the Real Housewives of NYC or Bethenny Getting Married?

So...as lame as Skating with the Stars is...and is most CERTAINLY is...I will be watching each week -- at least until Bethenny is voted off.

....which could be soon because she isn't doing very well.

Thanksgiving Picture Extravaganza

What a Weekend!

Obviously, I spent the weekend with the family...which continues to get bigger and bigger...

Back Row (L to R): Sara (Scott's fiance), Scott, David (brother-in-law), Mom, Dad, Kevin, Ashley (Kevin's Girlfriend)
Then: Me, Elizabeth and Sarah
Down in Front: Kendyl and Aden (Elizabeth and David's kids)

As usual, we took tons of family pictures (which the boys were super happy about)

This is my favorite one of the 5 kids

Kevin hates his picture taken

Scott loves his picture taken

My favorite of all the ladies

Aden-Pants and Kendy-Kins

Finally, a good one with Kevin and Ashley

Kevin blocking is face with Kendyl

And again...

Sara and Scott don't mind posing

Such a cute pic of Sarah and Kendyl. Saturday after Thanksgiving, Sarah took Kendyl to see Tangled.

Of course, the dogs had to get in on the action. We had all 4 dogs at Mom and Dad's.

Kevin and Max

Me with Niko (mine), Molly (black and white dog - Mom's), and Sophie (Kevin's)

Sarah and Sophie

As hard as we try, we can never get all 4 dogs to pose together. Even holding them doesn't work. Sarah is with Sophie, Ashley's holding Max, I'm holding Niko and Kevin is holding Max.

And, a few of my favorites:

Obviously, we had a ton of food, played board games, wrestled with the dogs, got almost zero sleep and barely argued at all! :)

I'm Thankful for my wonderful family. We are each vastly different from the next, but that's what makes everyone so special to me.

Hope you all had a fantastic Thanksgiving!!!

Happy Halloween

Yes, yes, I know I am late posting this.

One of my favorite holidays is Halloween. There is nothing better than dressing up and partying with friends all night. I am a people-watcher by nature, so costume parties are like crack to me. People bring out who they really are at costume parties....

Some like candy

Some like to show team support

There are criminals

There are video game junkies, geeks...and a whole lot of people that are confused
(can you figure some of these out? I had trouble)

We were invited to a party held in a hall in GR. It was the best Halloween party I've ever attended.

Here we are pre-game

...and then the night began...

Yes, I was the ghost from PacMan

...did you catch the extra feature on my costume?..
